In recent years, tourism has become the most dynamic industry, played an increasingly important role in economic and social development of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Attracted by the region's preferential policies on winter travel, a large number of tourists came to Tibet enjoying unique humanistic amorous feelings.On October 31, 2018, Promotion Conference themed as “Winter Travel of Tibet, sharing the world's‘Third Pole' ”has been held in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province.

Mainling County of Tibet's Nyingchi City owns a number of impressive attractions with fascinating scenery, such as the spectacular Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon and beautiful idyllic villages, etc. to attract a great many tourists from home and abroad and increase local villagers' income.

During the "Winter Travel of Tibet", the county has made great efforts in tourism including producing special tourist products, enhancing the influence of tourism to promote local industrial restructuring, agricultural development.

In order to expand the popularity of Mainling tourism, the county has actively participated in winter tourism promotion, and continuously increased publicity efforts in some cities of major tourists.
