Basic healthcare system improved in Tibet

Since the 40 years of Reform and Opening-up, Tibet has continuously improved the construction of basic healthcare system. At present, a basic healthcare system covering both urban and rural areas has been established to further maintain the society's harmony and stability in Tibet. By the end of 2017, the number of people enjoying the basic medical policies in agricultural and pastoral areas has reached 25,683,000; the reimbursement rate of medical expenses of farmers and herdsmen has reached 80% within the policy scope.
