The Spring Festival and the traditional Tibetan New Year-Losar happened to be the same day this year, which fell on Feb. 5, 2019. In order to provide a platform for farmers and herdsmen to exchange materials, Dagar Village of Chushur County, Lhasa City organized the 2nd Commodity Fair ahead of the two important festivals.

The 2nd Dagar Commodity Fair was held at the Chushur Bridge which attracted more than 100 merchants. Tibetan style wooden bowls, stoves, copper pots, costumes, boots as well as plastic flower ornaments and candies were available in the market. 

According to the leaders of the Dagar Village, to ensure the order and the safety of the fair, a volunteer service team was formed to help the traffic congestion along the National Highway 318.
