Maizhokunggar County of Lhasa regards targeted poverty alleviation as an important livelihood project, and takes various measures to form a comprehensive poverty alleviation pattern integrating specified projects, featured industries and social resources, so as to further promote poverty alleviation work. It always adheres to help people increasing their income steadily and getting rid of poverty through the sound and rapid development of industry. Up to now, 7,418 registered poor households have reached the standard of poverty elimination. The county's annual per capita disposable income has reached 9,459.86 yuan RMB, and the incidence of poverty has dropped to 0.01%.
