Lhasa develops collective economy among social communities

In recent years, based on the actual situation, Chengguan District of Lhasa City has taken multiple measures to continuously develop and expand collective economy among social communities, which has provided a guarantee for further promoting community construction and improving the living environment and living standards of residents.

At present, 1,040 households live in Karma Kunsang Community covering an area of 560,000 ㎡. According to workers of the Community Neighborhood Committee, to improve work efficiency, they have formulated a series of management plans, and insisted on timely publicity of major matters like housing subsidies and spending. In addition, the contract on community collective economy has been adjusted and standardized, and the rent has been raised. Last year, the community economic dividends have doubled over the past years, and each resident of the community has received a dividend of 10,000 yuan RMB.
