Developing characteristic industries is an effective way of poverty alleviation work. In recent years, according to local conditions and government's policies, Qonggar Village of Shannan's Chosam County has adjusted its industrial structure to develop Tibetan medicine planting and deep processing industries, and successfully registered the "Zang Mingkang" trademark, which have made full use of land resources and solved the employment problems of poor households and increased their income.
