According to the survey on income and expenditure as well as living conditions of rural residents in Tibet made by the Tibet investigation team of State Statistics Bureau, in 2018, the per capita disposable income of Tibet rural residents reached 11,450 yuan RMB, realizing an increase of 1,120 yuan RMB (10.8%) over the previous year, and the growth rate ranked first in China.
In 2018, Tibet rural residents' per capita wage income increased rapidly, the per capita property net income grew dramatically, the per capita business net income increased steadily, and the per capita transfer net income grew in a balanced way. On the whole, in 2018, the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 0.7 percentage points higher than that of urban residents, and the urban-rural income ratio was 2.95 : 1, slightly lower than the previous year.
Next, Tibet will stick to the overall work tone of seeking improvement in stability, further improve support policieswith supply-side structural reform as the main line, and take effective measures to increase farmers and herdsmen's income.
