Recently, a publicity activity on the 2019 National Safety Education Day is carried out at Yuthok Pedestrian Street of Lhasa City, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. During the activity, the participating departments and units educate and guide citizens to enhance national security awareness through handing out manuals, setting up knowledge exhibition boards and watching relevant videos.

Recently, Nyingchi Detachment of Tibet Armed Police Corps invites the students from Nyingchi No. 2 Primary School to experience soldiers' lives and receive national defense education in its barracks. According to Wang Jianji, the political commissar of this detachment, in recent years, they have carried out this kind of activity to improve citizens' patriotic spirit and strengthen the soldiers' consciousness of selfless contribution.
