Developing characteristic industry has become a major way to help farmers and herdsmen get jobs and increase income. At present, the Pulu (Tibetan wool) Weaving Cooperative of Champaling Village in Chanang County's Chatang Town has solved the employment problem of 60 local people including 41 from poor families, and their average monthly income has increased to 7000 yuan RMB.
