Taking advantage of local environment, a strawberry cooperative is established in Baina Village of Taktse District, Lhasa City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Adhering to the concept of green and pollution-free cultivation, the cooperative introduces strawberry varieties from other places outside Tibet, recruits 42 local women, and implements the unified management mechanism integrating production, management, packaging and sales. Nowadays, the annual output of strawberries in the cooperative is 10,000 kg, with an output value of 600,000 yuan RMB.
