Since this year,Tengchen County of Qamdo City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region has continuously strengthened the survey of migrant workers, improved the management and level of migrant population management services, and achieved a new improvement in efficiency.

Using the platform of police system, information the migrant workers are searched and compared, thus fugitives and criminals are found in time. Public security inspections in enterprises with concentrated workers are intensified, public security management responsibility letters are signed in construction projects and other places.

The county organizes polices to visit the places where the floating population is concentrated, comprehensively grasps the public security and employment situation of key places by means of entrance supervision and door-to-door visits.

By means of door-to-door service, in spite of the difficulties on work of floating population, the county provides them with help, and centralizes the dealing of residence permits and other documents. Since this year, legal publicity has been carried out for five times, more than 2,000 publicity materials and more than 150 police and civilian contact cards have been given out. Meanwhile, the polices strengthen public security maintaining, as well as solve contradictions and disputes in these areas where external population gathers and public security cases are relatively frequent.
