Nursery stocks bring wealth to farmers

With an investment of 5 million yuan RMB and located in Maizhokunggar County of Lhasa, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Tanggya Town's Nursery Stock Base occupies an area of 200 mu (133,333 square meters). There are 308,900 trees covering 13 kinds of plants including elm trees, desert willows and Gyantse hippophae rhamnoides. The nursery base also creates 2,003 jobs for the local, bringing an income of 280,000 yuan RMB. Besides, the local impoverished households get 146,900 yuan RMB of income from the rent of rural collective land.
