To further expand the channels for increasing income of farmers and herdsmen and promote poverty alleviation, Quxu County of Lhasa City, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, has actively carried out the construction of poverty alleviation nursery.

Fully understanding the significance of carrying out the construction of poverty alleviation nursery, Quxu County establishes a leading group to strengthen the leadership and implement all measures.

Taking climate, soil, water conservancy facilities and other conditions into comprehensive consideration, Quxu County ensures that poor people are the main body of project construction and beneficiaries in accordance with the principles of local seedlings, appropriate scale, reasonable layout and new construction. Based on the development model of "company + poor people", the collective land of the Group 2 of Quxu Village is selected as the nursery construction point. The land is mainly planted with native tree species, and over 16 hectares of anti-poverty nursery is built to continuously drive poor people to increase income and get rich.

At present, Quxu County is identifying those poor people who will be involved in the construction of poverty alleviation nursery, and plans to drive 100 poor farmers and herdsmen getting employed to increase incomes, so as to make full use of the idle labor force of poverty-stricken households. The poor people can participate in the construction in the form of capital investment and labor investment.

After the establishment of the poverty alleviation nursery, 60% of the annual net profit will be taken as the labor wage and year-end dividend of the poverty-stricken households, and 40% as the circulating capital of the nursery, to ensure the annual income of each household reaching 6,000 yuan RMB.
