Xigaze Railway Stationhas completed its first logistics base of the storage and logistics center in Xigaze Cityof southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region; the storage and logistics center is expected to be built into an integrated logistics park supported by information system and logistics service functions such as transportation, stowage, storage, distribution, packaging, circulation and processing.

After the completion, the storage and logistics center will improve the operation efficiency of production, circulation and logistics enterprises, as well as reduce logistics costs of the city and region. Forming a new industrial cluster and an optimizing industrial chain in Xigaze stimulates development of industries including transportation, trade, finance, information, catering, entertainment and others, and drives the coordinated development of regional economy and forms agglomeration effect. This project is helpful to reduce the traffic pressure and realize the overall function of the city, and contributes to local poverty alleviation work by providing 580 working posts to local people and driving other industries providing 2,000 working posts.
