In order to change the living habits of farmers and herdsmen, together with the village task force, Lugudong Village of Karze Town, Namling County, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, makes effective use of village-level activity venues to build public bathrooms and open them to the public, thus guiding the masses to be civilized and hygienic.
Lugudong Village actively coordinates all forces to accelerate the construction of public bathrooms. In addition, health knowledge is widely publicized among the villagers, guiding them to abandon bad habits and pay attention to personal hygiene and physical health, and relevant contents are incorporated into the village rules and regulations. Besides, public bathrooms in seven other villages in karze Town are under construction and are expected to be completed by the end of October.
