Recently, according to the Party Committee of Medog County, since the beginning of poverty alleviation, Yadong Village of Medog County has vigorously implemented "anti-season" vegetable planting project, to help local villagers get out of poverty by relying on vegetable industry and increasing agricultural efficiency, ensuring farmers' income and sustainable development of agriculture.

Up to now, the varieties of planting vegetables has been increased from the original cabbage and radish to 15 kinds of common vegetables now; the number of participating households has been increased from 20 to 79, and the planting scale has been increased from 36,000㎡ to 400,000 ㎡, realizing an income increase of 6,000 yuan RMB for each household, and the annual sales of the household with highest sales exceeds 20,000 yuan RMB.
