Located in Nang County of Nyingchi City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Langdun Pepper Professional Cooperative has been established in 2010, mainly producing paprika, chilli sauce, walnut oil and other products through the business model of "company-base-farmers". Since the establishment, the cooperative has created employment opportunities and increased income for local villagers, and has injected a strong impetus into the poverty alleviation work.

In recent years, relying on the support of preferential policies, unique geographical advantages, convenient transportation and suitable climatic conditions, Tunggar Town has vigorously seized market opportunities and developed pepper planting industry to help local villagers alleviate poverty and become rich.

Currently, products of the cooperative have mainly been sold to Nyingchi, Shannan, Xigaze, Lhasa and other places. The brand popularity has also been increased greatly.

"We are going to expand our factory and purchase new machines so that more people can get employment opportunities in our cooperative. Meanwhile, we will develop new products like capsicol and zanthoxylum oil, to continuously bring wealth to villagers", a worker is confident about the cooperative's future.
