Zogang County of Qamdo City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, once has been a section of the Ancient Tea Horse Road for merchants to enter and leave Tibet, but now is one of these poverty-stricken counties in Tibet. After great efforts of government and people, local industrial projects have been grown vigorously; 13,399 people from 2,680 local poor households have gotten rid of poverty. Currently, the county owns 55 specialized cooperatives, providing 745 working posts with an average annual income of 4,200 yuan RMB.
