Tibet Autonomous Region Hospital project is a major people's livelihood construction project of the state and region, with 1 billion yuan RMB of special funds from national finance. The hospital, covering an area of 0.267 km², with a total construction area of about 0.27 km², plans to set up 1,499 beds. It is scheduled to be completed and put into trial operation by the end of 2021, and will be built into a Grade Ⅲ Class A national (plateau) regional medical center, integrating teaching, scientific research, medical prevention and first aid, which will better provide medical service and further meet the demand of people of all ethnic groups in Tibet for high-quality medical services.
