In recent years, Bayi District of Nyingchi, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, has advanced upgrading and integration of industries, accelerated the formation of new economic growth points and facilitated the implementation of rural revitalization strategy.

Da Baishu Trade Center, one of Guangdong Dongguan's Aid-Tibet projects, has been put into use on April 20. Moreover, infrastructures in Gongbo scenic spot and Gala village known for peach blossoms, and entry of Ka Dinggou Scenic Spot are under construction. With the booming of upgrading projects in tourist attractions, Nyingchi is making preparation for the coming of peak tourist season.

To improve tourism industry, Bayi District has worked out designs of eight scenic spots, like Gongbu scenic spot and King Cypress Garden. It also focuses on the development of tourist products with local characteristics. Through the combination of tourism resources and the exploration of all-season tourist products, various tour lines are promoted.

Bayi District has strengthened tourism promotion and striven to expand its influence through various activities. In 2019, it received a total of 2.15 million tourists, generating 1.96 billion yuan RMB in tourism revenue.

To enhance farmers and herdsmen's living standards, Bayi District, on the basis of its local conditions, has promoted green development and continued to develop ecological leisure businesses, like picking-up activities in pastoral areas and living in Tibetan families. In addition, it has accelerated the building of vegetable planting, Tibetan pig raising and poultry breeding bases. Now, an industrial chain of Tibetan pig has already taken shape. Over the past year, the output value and added value of its agriculture and animal husbandry reached 250 million yuan RMB and 183 million yuan RMB respectively.

To promote the development of logistics industry, Bayi District has attached importance to building Baji Logistics Park. Covering an area of 153,246 ㎡, the first phase of this project has been put into operation in July of 2019, bringing an annual income of two million yuan RMB.
