Poverty alleviation work in Tibet's Nagqu City

Impressive progress has made in the Nagqu City's poverty alleviation work. Since 2016, 11 poverty-stricken counties (districts) and 1,173 poverty-stricken villages of Nagqu City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region have been lifted out of poverty, involving 136,318 poor people from 31,942 households. The poverty headcount ratio reduced to 0% from 22.7% in 2015. In the future, Nagqu City will continue to consolidate its achievements in poverty alleviation work and make local people's life better and happier.
