The fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, March 5, 2021. Deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) and members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region arrived in Beijing and put forward proposals to offer comments and suggestions on the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025).
The year of 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the first year for implementing the country's 14th Five-Year Plan, and the 70th anniversary of Tibet's peaceful liberation. Deputies and members deliberated relevant resolution bills and reports, and submitted proposals based on their duties.
