The roof of the Xizang Planetarium will be equipped with a refraction optical astronomical telescope with the largest diameter (about 1.06 meters) in the world, which has the dual functions of scientific research and popularization of science. In scientific research, in addition to the observation and research of celestial bodies, it can also provide space early warning for the launch of satellites and spacecraft in China.
