With the city's production and life coming back to normal, Chomsigkang Market, in Lhasa City, capital of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, started opening on Dec. 10.
Chomsigkang, which means "market" in Tibetan, is one of public areas crowded with people and stores.
"We are so glad to see the opening of businesses. The market has been sterilized. We came here for cleaning those goods shelves earlier this morning. Some old-fashioned clothes will be sold at a discount," said a retailer in Chomsigkang.
"There are over 1,000 stores here. Currently, about 95% of businesses have resumed," said Nyima, the head man of the Office of Chomsigkang Market.
Currently, the market opens from 11: 00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
