Rural road is the basic condition to guarantee the production and life of the peasant masses, and is the guiding infrastructure for the development of agriculture and rural areas. Since the "13th Five-Year Plan", Xizang Autonomous Region has successively introduced and implemented a series of preferential policies and supporting measures to promote the construction of rural roads, making historic progress in all aspects of rural road construction, management, maintenance and transportation.
