The important instructions made by General Secretary Xi Jinping to the publicity ideological and cultural work recently triggered a strong response in the publicity ideological and cultural front of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. They agrees that it is necessary to deeply understand the decisive significance of the "Two Affirmations", enhance the "Four Consciousness", strengthen the "Four-sphere Confidence", and achieve the "Two Upholds", continue to strengthen the study, research and interpretation of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, take on a new mission, create a new situation, and promote the publicity ideological and cultural work.

General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that efforts should be made to cultivate and practice socialist core values, and to enhance the communication power of news and public opinion, guidance, influence and credibility.

As the first county-level media center built on a pilot basis in the whole region,  Nedong Media Center in Shannan City have realized that new media platforms gradually become important windows for local cadres and masses to learn and understand the Party's policies. Sonam Gyatso, head of the media center says that they will continue to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the publicity ideological and cultural work, and combine with the local reality, deepen the integration and development of the media, in order to write more down-to-earth news works and effectively enhance the communication power of news and public opinion, guidance, influence and credibility, and better guide and serve the masses.

Tsering Dorgye, director of the Media Center of Kangmar County, Xigaze City, says that they will continue to deepen the learning and understanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, give full play to the advantages of the new media platforms, improve the level of media technology innovation and application, bring forth new ideas to create more thoughtful, warm and high-quality fine works.

General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that Party committees at all levels should carry the publicity ideological and cultural work on their shoulders as a major political responsibility to ensure that the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee on cultural construction are implemented, and that publicity and cultural departments at all levels should strengthen their political responsibility, be brave in reform and innovation, and constantly make progress in publicity ideological and cultural work in the new era.

Xie Hongyong, deputy minister of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee of Ngari Prefecture, says that they will take the lead in learning and practice Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, and contentiously enhance the communication, guidance, influence and credibility of news and public opinion, and show responsibilities and actions for constantly creating a new era of publicity ideological and cultural work.
