In order to accurately and timely know the population number, distribution and protection status of overwintering waterfowl, the Forestry Survey and Planning Institute of Xizang Autonomous Region recently led the formation of a monitoring team to carry out pre-survey and synchronous monitoring work. A total of 407 survey tracks were recorded, 45 species of waterfowl were observed, and 2,569 species were recorded throughout the region.
