During the Qingming Festival holiday, the consumption demand for viewing the flowers, going outing, enjoying delicious food and so on is strong. More than 120 catering and retail enterprises that are monitored by the municipal and prefectural commerce departments in Xizang Autonomous Region have achieved cumulative sales of 194 million yuan, an increase of 9.4%. Xizang received 653,600 tourists from home and abroad, and achieved a total tourism revenue of 243 million yuan.
