The 47.46 km Xizang S5 expressway, which starts from Deqen Town, Dagze District, Lhasa City and ends at Samye Town, Zhanang County, Shannan City, is expected to open to trafficin July this year. After opening to traffic, the travel time between the two cities takes only one hour, which greatly facilitates communication and interaction between people, and provides a solid traffic guarantee for promoting the integrated development of the economy.
