With an average elevation of 1,200 meters, Medog County of Nyingchi City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, began to plant tea trees since 2012, and 103 high-standard alpine tea gardens have been built in 39 villages, with a total area of about 19,200 mu. This year, the harvest of Medog tea began on March 17. As of April 22, the local people's tea green income exceeded 5.9 million yuan, and the added output value the county's tea industry exceeded 40 million yuan.
