The 50MW energy storage project combining animal husbandry with photovoltaic power in Rere Village, Rawa Town, Sog County, Nagqu City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, is the largest new grid-forming energy storage photovoltaic power generation project among China's clean energy projects and also the first of its type in Xizang, which was connected to the grid for power generation in December 2023. The plant area is located at an altitude of 4,150 to 4,500 meters and can provide 80,558MWh of clean electric energy to the power grid every year.
