Roundtable conferences on "Building a More Effective Xizang-related International Communication System" were held in Lhasa recently.

Sponsored by the Publicity Department of Xizang Autonomous Region and the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, and hosted by the Xizang International Communication Center and the Europe-Africa Center of the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, the round table series activities have attracted experts in the field of Xizang-related international communication to participate and express their views on how to build a more effective international communication system.

"The improvement of people's lives is the most beautiful picture." In his keynote speech, Huang Hao, an expert on Xizang-related international communication from Washington, the United States, now working at the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, said that since China's reform and opening up, the income of Tibetan people has continued to grow rapidly, their life has become better, their living standards have been continuously improved, moving toward prosperity.

Zhang Yaxin, professor and doctoral supervisor of Television Academy of the Communication University of China, said that she was honored to be employed as one of thespecial expertsin Xizang international communication, “The establishment of the Xizang International Communication Center is in time. This event is a perfect opportunity for us to tell the story of China's Xizang in a more detailed and vivid way."
