A set of data published on Xizang Daily reflects the construction of rural roads in China's Xizang Autonomous Region. In the past ten years, a total of 121.524 billion yuan has been invested in the construction of rural roads in Xizang, and the length of newly built and upgraded roads has reached 58,700 kilometers. All townships and administrative villages in Xizang have access to roads. By the end of 2023, the length of rural roads in the region has reached 93,000 kilometers. Xizang has been actively and steadily accelerating the construction of rural transport infrastructure, greatly improving travel conditions in farming and pastoral areas.
