As of Sep. 30 this year, Xizang Autonomous Region has transmitted 15.422 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy outside the region since 2015, helping reduce the use of standard coal by about 4.73 million tonnes and cutting carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide emissions by approximately 13.24 million tonnes and 360,000 tonnes, respectively. The region's clean energy generation accounted for over 99%, and basically achieved full clean power supply, becoming the provincial power grid with the highest proportion of clean energy generation in China.
