(ECNS) -- China welcomes global partners to join future missions on the Chinese Space Station at any time, a spokesperson from the China Manned Space Agency announced at a press conference on Tuesday.

The spokesperson highlighted that the Tiangong Space Station is equipped with abundant scientific resources and comprehensive support capabilities. The Shenzhou manned transportation system and Tianzhou cargo system have reliable capabilities for the transportation of personnel and materials between Earth and space, making it an excellent platform for international cooperation.

Currently, the first batch of projects, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs(UNOOSA), is conducting experiments onboard, and further joint experimental research with other countries is underway. Discussions are also ongoing to train and select astronauts from other nations to participate in missions aboard the Chinese Space Station, the spokesperson introduced.

The Chinese Space Station, in essence, is not only China's, but a station that advances global space technology and benefits all humanity, the spokesperson concluded.
