On November 30, the 6th Whistling Archery Contest of Gongbo'gyamda County was held in Nyingchi of China's Xizang to celebrate the Kongpo New Year. The Kongpo whistling arrow, consists of 4 parts namely bow, arrow, target and the holder, gets the name for the sharp whistling produced by a small hole in the arrow head after the arrow is shot. It's a traditional folk sporting event in Nyingchi to celebrate important festivals.
