"I hope my live broadcast can not only help local farmers and herdsmen sell more products, but also let more people know that Nagqu has rich livestock products as well as profound cultural heritage and unique natural scenery. I dream that one day Nagqu can become a popular tourist destination for people all over the country and even the world, so that more people can experience the customs of northern Xizang." Said Pema Dorji, an internet celebrity who broadcasts live at the 17th Livestock Products Fair in Nagqu City, southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region.

At the 3rd "Rural Revitalization Nagqu Advances" Achievement Exhibition & 17th Livestock Products Fair of Nagqu City, all kinds of animal products such as wool products, Tibetan fritillaria, cordyceps sinensis and dairy products, are dazzlingand available, appealing to customers.

Different from previous years, many "e-commerce celebrities" can be seen at this year's exhibition. They show products through the live-broadcasting platforms, interact with the audience, and introduce the production process and cultural background of products, so that consumers far away can also feel the customs of Nagqu. This trendy sales method has attracted a large number of young consumers, who not only buy the products, but also learn more about the story of Nagqu, thus strengthening their identification and interest in the culture of northern Xizang.

The interactive part of the exhibition is also very active, and many visitors put forward purchase demands after experiencing the production process, hoping to support the inheritance and development of these traditional handicrafts with practical actions. Besides, the livestreamers show these special products to the national audience through introducing their production process and cultural background.

"Such activities not only let the outside world know about Nagqu animal products, but also promote the income growth of local farmers and herdsmen. At the same time, the fair also attracts many experts, scholars and entrepreneurs, who show a strong interest in Nagqu's animal products and handicrafts, laying a good foundation for future cooperation and exchanges." Said Norbu Tsering, a local official of Seni District.

A total of 10 professional e-commerce livestreamers and more than 20 social media network celebrities jointly promote the success of the exhibition. On the opening day of December 20 alone, the total online and offline sales reached 47.8927 million yuan, involving Nagqu yak meat, dairy products, fur, agricultural products, Tibetan medicinal materials, ethnic handicrafts and so on.

The participation of internet e-commerce adds a different style to this year's fair. Traditional handicrafts and intangible cultural heritage products made by farmers and herdsmen in Nagqu combine online and offline sales channels, which are making broader market opportunities.
