On December 17, according to a press conference held in Xizang, this year, the gigabit optical fiber network in the region has been capable of covering 2.75 million households, with 10G-PON and above port capacity reaching 79,400. There have been 7,035 newly added 5G base stations, with a total of over 17,000 established and opened, and 70% of administrative villages have access to the 5G network. The commercial promotion of 5G core network roaming across different networks is proceeding in an orderly manner.

To strengthen supervision, inspection, and law enforcement efforts against unfair competition in key areas of the telecommunications market, promote source governance and pressure transmission, and create a clear and reassuring consumption service environment, the Communications Administration of Xizang Autonomous Region has strengthened cross-departmental information exchange and regulatory coordination, carried out regulatory actions against violations in the telecommunications market, and enhanced the management of telecommunications tariff filings. So far this year, a total of 1,416 user complaints have been received, with a resolution rate of 100%.

Meanwhile, the Communications Administration of Xizang Autonomous Region issued a notice on "removing and shutting down unregistered APPs," verified the number of existing local APPs, urged network access service companies to carry out APP/mini-program registrations, and gradually achieved dynamic clearance of unregistered APPs. It assesses the accuracy of ICP registration subject information on a monthly basis, conducts clean-up of shell-type registration data, and ensures that the region's website registration rate is 100%, with a subject accuracy rate of 99.7%, a domain name accuracy rate of 100%, a website compliance rate of 99.96%, and a website registration number display accuracy rate of 99.82%.

Furthermore, the Communications Administration of Xizang Autonomous Region has organized and carried out the "Data Security Escort" special action in the information and communication industry, deeply promoting data security management in the telecommunications sector. Up to now, it has guided and urged various basic telecommunications enterprises in the region to suspend over 173,000 SIM cards involved in fraud risks and cooperated with public security departments to block over 8.25 million domain names involved in fraud. The region's network and data security capabilities have been continuously improved.
