The first day of the eleventh month of the Tibetan calendar marks the "New Year's Day" of Purang New Year, which falls on Dec 31, 2024. This is another Tibetan New Year celebration in Ngari Prefecture of China's Xizang after the Kongpo New Year celebrated in Nyingchi on Dec 2, 2024.
