The Xianghe River water conservation project and the supporting irrigation facilities in Xizang are expected to provide an annual average water supply of 111.8 million cubic meters, which will realize a stable electricity supply to the central Xizang power grid, resolve water shortages in the irrigated areas, and help increase the grain yield to about 400 kilograms per mu.
