A new flight route connecting Lhasa and Hongkong via Chengdu is scheduled to take off from Lhasa Gonggar International Airport of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Feb. 19, 2025. The new route is expected to greatly reduce travel time between the two places, and further promote in-depth integration of interconnectivity, business cooperation as well as cultural exchanges between Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions and Xizang.
