In 2024, China's Xizang scientifically carried out land afforestation, promoted ecological protection and restoration projects in key areas, completed artificial afforestation of 1.06 million mu (approximately 70,667 hectares), realized restoration and management of degraded grassland covering an area of 6 million mu (approximately 400,020 hectares) and 6,000 mu (approximately 400 hectares) newly increased courtyard greening.
