In recent years, Xizang Autonomous Region has deeply promoted the courtyard greening initiative, coordinated the improvement of urban and rural human settlements, as well as ecological protection and economic development, achieving remarkable results. To date, 252 courtyard greening projects have been completed across the region, with a total investment of 343 million yuan and a greening area of 3.9859 million square meters. Among them, the project completion rate in Shannan City, Nyingchi City, Qamdo City, and Ngari Prefecture has reached 100%.

Xizang considers courtyard greening as an important measure to create a national ecological civilization highland, with work being carried out according to local conditions in various areas. Lhasa City, as a pilot city, formulates a special plan, clarifying technical standards and a list of saplings; Nyingchi City, relying on its humid climate, plants a variety of saplings to create ecological landscapes; Ngari Prefecture selects cold-resistant plants to complete greening projects in response to its alpine and arid environment. Courtyard greening not only brings ecological benefits but also achieves a win-win situation for both ecology and the economy, allowing the public to share the green dividends. Driven by policies, all parts of Xizang are showing a good trend of full participation in courtyard greening.

In the future, Xizang plans to deepen the integration of courtyard greening and low-carbon development, enhance the ornamental and artistic value of greening projects, and steadily move forward towards the goal of becoming a "National Ecological Garden City," painting a better green picture for the people.
