"Go to see the beautiful spring of our motherland and enjoy the most beautiful peach blossoms in Nyingchi." Said Liu Sui, a Guangzhou resident, who departed early on March 18 from Guangzhou Railway Station, boarding a dedicated tourist train bound for Xizang.

On that day, more than 200 tourists, most of whom are retired elderly from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, commenced their journeys from Guangzhou via dedicated trains, flights, and other transportation modes. Their 10-to-12-day itinerary includes visits to Lhasa and Nyingchi, with stops at Gala Village, Duodang Village, and Sangduo Bairi Monastery in Nyingchi.

Xizang's Nyingchi has an average altitude of 3,100 meters. Every early spring, peach blossoms bloom across hillsides, complementing the blue sky, white clouds, snow capped mountains, and glaciers, creating a unique landscape. Gala Village, renowned as the "first village of peach blossom in Nyingchi", is one of the best flower viewing destinations in Nyingchi City.

Xizang remains a favored travel destination for residents of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. According to the travel agency that has organized the event, it has sent nearly 120,000 tourists to Xizang since 2019. Through direct resource procurement and local partnerships, it aims to enhance the quality of tourism consumption, driving coordinated development of Xizang's transportation, accommodation, catering, and cultural experience industries.
