Recently, the filming of "Beyond the Frozen Horizon" has wrapped up in Lhasa, capital of China's Xizang. The film, specially dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Xizang Autonomous Region, tells a touching story integrating personal growth, romantic love, as well as human geography. Taking the 10-year development and transformation of Shuanghu County in Nagqu City as its backdrop, the film crew achieved the entirely on-location shoot in the uninhabited areas of northern Xizang at extremely high altitude for the first time.
