Spring is a crucial season for agricultural production. In recent days, China's Xizang has actively seized the golden season for farming and made full preparations for spring plowing and sowing. As of March 17, 2025, Xizang has completed 11,400 mu (760 hectares) of spring sowing area. In 2025, the planned spring sowing area in Xizang is 3.68 million mu (245,400 hectares). Currently, the region has prepared 30.99 million kilograms of highland barley seeds, 4.68 million tons of farm manure, and 20,200 tons of chemical fertilizers.
