In 2024, Samdrutse District, Xigaze City of China's Xizang, achieved remarkable results in ecological and environmental protection. Throughout the year, the district implemented key projects such as afforestation, grassland restoration, and forest management to optimize its ecological environment, conducted pest control across 30,800 mu (20,533 hectares) of land, rescued 37 rare animals, including bar-headed geese and black-necked cranes. These efforts led to an increase in farmers' and herdsmen's incomes by over 5.6 million yuan, achieving a "win-win" outcomes for both ecology and economy.
