In early 2025, the Chinese government called on all citizens to engage in weight management. To assist residents on the plateau in managing their weight, the "weight management clinic" at the People's Hospital of Xizang Autonomous Region will open on April 11. It will provide personalized weight-loss programs through various approaches, including physical examination, traditional Chinese medicine therapies, and exercise guidance.
