From January to March 2025, Lhasa City, capital of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, has consistently ranked among the top performers in air quality out of China's 168 key cities. The proportion of days with excellent and good air quality has remained stable, while the annual average PM2.5 concentration was significantly lower than the national average. These achievements highlight not only the exceptional ecological endowment of the "Roof of the World," but also the unique approach of high-altitude regions in tackling climate challenges.
