On April 29, the launch ceremony for "When the Gesar Flowers Bloom", Xizang's first theatrical film featuring Monba children, was held in Medog County. Inspired by the real-life story of Gesang Dekyi, vice principal of Medog County Complete Primary School, the film follows Monba children Dundrup and Wangmo's perseverance in pursuing education, filling the gap in theatrical films featuring Monba ethnic children.
